I met Arlie when I worked at the Danville Costco. I was always one to joke around and was a fun to be around. He will be dearly missed; and am sorry for your loss.

Arlie was the face of Costco Danville. He always greeted us with a smile. He will be sorely missed. He is an example of how we all should treat others. God bless you and your wife, Arlie...I am sure you are in heaven. You earned it.

Shari, my sincerest condolences for your loss. I read his obituary, WoW what a truly genuine beautiful man he was and a heavenly soul. He is with our Loving God now, and you will reunite with him in heaven.
as a reminder, I am Mike Elix, you taught me ebay skills a couple of times.
It is so interesting abut wearing a Hawaiian shirt, my wife requested everyone to wear a Hawaiian shirt and shorts too when she passed away.
I truly wish I could come to the service on the 17th, but I have to work that day.
I will be there in spirit and praying for you and family members. God Bless

Shari, we are so sorry for your loss. He will watch over you and be your guardian angel. You were the light of his life. The world lost an angel on earth. He touched everyone who ever met him with his strength and positivity. I feel blessed to have known him and to have him as a friend. May god give you strength at this time.

Dear Shari: Mike and I were so sorry to hear of Arlie's passing. Arlie actually made shopping fun. We would always look to see if he was working at the door because he always had a smile. We enjoyed our brief conversations with him and he would tell us about you and Tinkerbell. There will never be another Arlie and we will miss him. God bless you and your family and of course, Tinkerbell.

It is with a heavy heart that I leave my condolences to Shari, Tinkerbell and the rest of Arlie's friends and family. I met Arlie around 1990 when Arlie was a friend of my son, Jeffrey Bodway. He was one of the kindest souls I know and will not be forgotten by the wide array of people in the San Ramon community. God Bless you Arlie and may you rest in peace.

Shari, Arlie and you are both so dear to us. One time, Ray was chatting with Arlie and used a line that his friend always used when somebody asked him about HIS wife "How's your wife? Mean as a snake" When Arlie was asked about you, and Ray piped in with the "mean as a snake" line, Arlie was outraged, and told what an angel you are. You were lucky to have such a wonderful husband, we are just so sorry that your time together was cut short. We would be at the memorial, but we have moved to Idaho. We send you our love and condolences. Marge and Ray Hoyt

I am a very frequent shopper at Costco. Always enjoyed Arlies interaction with customers and especially with children. When he wasn't busy entertaining kids I'd walk by to see how he was doing. He'd always say he was great. And loved Costco for making his life as good as possible. Shopping there well be forever different but every time I walk into that store I'll remember a very special person. God bless.
