Ina Mae Bland

Ina Mae Bland, of Tracy, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the age of 86. She was born August 4, 1931, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to the late Leslie and Opal Colvin.
Ina made Tracy her home from 1963 to 2013. She worked as an administrative assistant at Site 300 and Lawrence Livermore Lab for 15 years. Ina was a member of what was originally First Southern Baptist Church and is now Southwinds Church in Tracy. Her main love and ministry was in the 2- and 3-year-old children’s department, where she loved on babies, mentored young mothers, and served as director. She moved in 2013 to Pioneer, California, and was a member of Sierra Baptist Church in Pioneer. Ina’s favorite pastime was loving her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Charles Bland; daughter, Judy Castellon; grandchildren, Kami Jones, Megan Williams, Nathaniel Bland, and Brittany Wendland; and great-grandchildren, Emery Williams and Colton Jones. Ina was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clyde Bland; sister, Dixie Jeghers; and brother-in-law, Walt Jeghers.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, February 5, at
Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Ave., in Tracy, at 1:00 PM and a graveside service at 2:00 PM at the Tracy Cemetery, 501 West Schulte Road, in Tracy.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Sierra Baptist Church, P.O. Box 719, Pioneer, CA 95666. Donations can be made in memory of Ina Mae Bland, all donations will be used for helping local kids get kids to camp this summer.
