Karen Marie Fistolera

Karen Marie Fistolera, 70, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. She was born in Oakland, CA to the late Ben & Jennie Kopperness. Karen was raised in Manteca and married Jimmie Fistolera in 1971 and shared a loving relationship until his death in 2011. Karen lived in Tracy for over 40 years at the family ranch.
Karen was happiest maintaining her garden and was an avid pinochle player. Her love of animals was demonstrated by the care she gave her two dogs, Buddy & Einstein and her cat Clyde. At one time, she worked in the school district as an administrative aide. She was known by her friends for the wonderful pies, cakes and candy gift baskets on holidays.
Karen is survived by her son Steven Fistolera & his fiancée Denise Cristiano, stepson Allen Fistolera & wife Betty and stepson Larry Fistolera. She is also survived by her family members in Norway. She leaves behind her dear loving friends, Jason & Angela Allen, Fabiola, Aldo, Natalie Antemate, Judy & Carlos Feblas, Delores & Alfred Henriquz, special dear friend and many thanks to Mikell Mia and Bill & Logan Finch.
In keeping with Karen’s wishes, there will be a graveside services on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Tracy Public Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Rd., Tracy, CA 95376, at 10:00 a.m.
