Willie Mae Weber was born Sunday, November 28, 1943 on the Weber Farm in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. She passed at the age of 73 on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Dublin, California.
Mae was a loving, generous person who was kind to all. Most of her life was spent as a devoted care giver. She took care of her sister Ginger’s children in her teen years. After the birth of her nephew Ken Darby, she also helped her sister in caring for him. Later on, she cared for her parents until they departed us for Heaven. Up until the time Mae left the Earth in Spirit, she was also helping her beloved sister, Faye. Mae enjoyed baking sweets and breads for others to enjoy. She loved watching Westerns and playing card games with family. She also enjoyed visiting Yosemite National Park.
Mae is survived by her immediate family: Faye Tillotson, Lloyd Weber and Kenneth Weber, as well as her nieces and nephews: Cynthia, Robert, Joseph, and her great-nieces: Michelle, Kayla, and Sarah. She will be missed by all who were blessed with knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue. She will be laid to rest at the Cryer Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana.
