Alice Lynn Richmond

October 1, 1954 ~ May 8, 2022 (age 67) 67 Years Old

Tribute

Well it's me Alice Lynn Richmond here at the place where we all end up sooner or later, the Obits page. For those of you that might not know me, I was born in Petersburg, Alaska October 1, 1954 and went home permanently on May 8, 2022 after a long illness to be with our Lord and foster son Joshua Foy who preceded me in death.
There I will wait for my husband of 42 years, William Richmond, my children Ian Richmond, Kara Richmond  and my granddaughters Haley Richmond and Alison Lawrence all of Tracy, California.
While I was here, I was a Military brat and moved around a lot and made lots of friends. I am the Child of James and Andrea Meece (now deceased) and the sister of James Meece, Dale Meece and Maxine Mercer all of Brush Prairie, Washington.
Along the way, I have made many friends and acquaintances both good and bad and believe it or not, I will miss you all and hopefully see you on the flip side.
During my time here I also worked in many jobs from Pizza parlors, to JC Penney, I received my beauty license from a beauty collage and worked at the Base Exchange on Edwards AFB California where I met my current husband. When I moved to Tracy from Edwards AFB I worked at Rebs bakery and Wallace and Richmond Tax service as they were part of the family business of my in-laws Robert and Betty Richmond (now deceased) of Tracy, CA.
Later on I found the Lord and became a Lay Pastor, Worship Leader and Associate Pastor at Patterson Covenant Church in Patterson, CA. I then pastored my Church in Vernalis, CA for a brief period. In 2010 I went back to school and acquired an AS degree in Paralegal studies and became a member of PHI THETA KAPPA Honor Society. My favorite place to go was anywhere on the coast, loved to hunt through driftwood and find shells on the beach. I especially like Highlands in Monterey, The Tickle Pink Hotel. I also enjoyed many Rock Concerts (fun fun fun). But nothing was more pleasing than watching my Children grow up. Here's to my best Girls Darlene Pera of Copperopolis, CA and Josie Saabye of Tracy, CA, Love you much!
