Amorsolo Marlang Pio, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was born in Pangasinan, Philippines, on Sunday, May 1, 1955 to the late Emerenciana C. (Marlang) & Serafin T Pio.
A resident of Tracy for the last 22 years, Amor immigrated to the United States at the age of 16. While living in Alameda, California in 1980, he enlisted in the United States Army. After completely his tour of duty; he joined the United States Postal Service as an Automotive Technician, and retired after 25 years.
Amor is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Deborah L. Pio; Son, Joseph M. Stansbury-Pio Sr., and grandson, Joseph M. Stansbury- Pio Jr.; cherish siblings, Benjamin H. M. Pio and his wife Lorna, Emely M. Pio and her partner Andrew Morales, Edgardo M. Pio and his partner Eden Delacruz. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, Marjorie P. Daquioag, Natalie V. Pio, Melanie V. Pio, Nicklaus V. Pio, Cameron Harris, Jamie Harris and Edina Delacruz-Pio.
He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Aiden Delacruz-Pio.
Fry Memorial Chapel\, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy is honored to serve the Pio family. A Vigil service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.; chapel doors will open at 2:00 p.m. for visiting hours until 8:30 p.m. Military honors will be presented at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Fry Memorial Chapel. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. He will be buried at Loyola Memorial Cemetery in Marikina, Philippines.
