Amy Marie Donahoo, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek. She was born April 23, 1954, in Virginia, to Ted and Marna Bolls. She married Roger Donahoo on October 17, 1978, in Reno, Nevada.
Amy was the Vice President of Action Fire Fab & Supply and was instrumental in the founding and running of the softball fundraising events hosted by the American Fire Sprinkler Association, which benefited the children burn victims at UC Davis. Amy truly loved and believed in the fire protection industry.
Amy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; arranging flowers, fishing, cooking, and shopping. She adored her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Amy was predeceased in death by her parents Ted and Marna Bolls; her sister Odile Bolls.
Amy is survived by her husband Roger Donahoo; siblings Ted Jr. and Cathy Bolls; children Michele and Scot Manchester, Brian Donahoo; grandchildren Brianna Manchester, Nicolette Manchester; nieces and nephews Jamie and Tyler Olsen, Jared and Lindsey Bolls, Casey Bolls and many great-nieces and nephews.
Amy always gave great love and support to her family and friends. Today she is looking down on us and smiling, encouraging us to not be sad at her passing but to celebrate her life and to keep our family and friends close.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue Tracy, CA on Monday September 16, 2019 at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at the Tracy Mausoleum.
