Tribute

A mass of Christian burial will be said Wednesday, January 22, 2020, for long time resident Ana Luz Beza, 88, who passed Friday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.

Mrs. Beza was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to the United States over 70 years ago. She was the mother of 12, an avid gardener, the president of the local union of Triple E, a US citizen, M.E.Ch.A. Club member and established the Beza Trucking Company with her husband of 50 years. She loved to travel, spend time with her family and teaching others to cook. As the matriarch of her family, she instilled the pursuit of a higher education and stressed the importance of always dreaming bigger.

She is survived by her sons Manuel Beza of Stockton, Benjamin Beza of Tracy, Junior Beza from Manteca, and Rudy T. Beza of Rancho Palos Verde; her daughters Gloria Rios, Frances Placeres, Rosemary Martinez, MaryAnn Pombo, and Diane Martinez, all of Tracy, Anna Martinez of Manteca, Carol Lozano of Stockton, and Patricia Contreras of West Sacramento; Brothers Guillermo, Leonard, Pedro Rodriguez all from West Covina, CA and Esteban Rodriguez from La Puente, CA; sister Vicenta Rodriguez also from West Covina, CA; 35 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great- great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gomecindo Manuel Beza, her brother, Julian Rodriguez, her sisters Francisca and Felicitas Rodriguez, her grandchildren Macrina Beza and Julian Martinez.

On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. a rosary will be held at Fry’s Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy, CA.. Public viewing will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Fry’s Memorial Chapel. On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, a mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Bernards Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA.

Interment will be at Tracy’s Public Cemetery.
