Anita Stopka, 86, was surrounded by family members and graced by Our Almighty Father’s presence as he took her home to his heavenly kingdom on Friday, May 10, 2019.
Anita was born and raised in Pittsburg, where she graduated from Pittsburg Senior High School in 1950.
Anita loved volunteering her time at the VFW and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed dancing and had a talent for painting. She loved planting her flowers and watching her garden grow. Her animated character and her kind and loving spirit captured the hearts and smiles of many.
Annie was a loving wife to her late husband, Lou, for 32 years and a loving, devoted mother to her four children.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Cori Aliotti; sons Greg (Lee) and Dean Stopka; her sister, Beatrice Castellanos; and 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Perry Stopka and parents Raymond and Natividad Rebeles. 
Rosary will be on Sunday, May 19, at Fry Memorial Chapel at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at St Bernard’s Church in Tracy. Reception to follow at Windmill Ridge Winery in Tracy.
