I was so sad to hear of Antoinette's passing. I was lucky enough to get to visit her during the holiday season, delivering her chocolate apricots for the past five years. She was such a light. I will always remember her warm and friendly spirit, her sweet dog Paco, and her delicious and beautiful walnut thumbprint cookies, which inspired a new product at Orchard Gold. I am grateful for her relationship with my father and her introduction to her grandson, Chris. She will be so missed. Wishing peace to the entire Reece family.

Jeanne, John, Pete & Leslie,
My sister Janice called to tell me that your mother has passed on. Please accept my condolences. I have many fond memories of our times on Vernalis Road. I can still remember when my mom called Antoinette and arranged for my first meeting with the Reece clan. That began a relationship with your family that lasted for too few years, but those days left a lasting impression on me. Antoinette always made feel at home when at your house, and always made sure that Beeber (John) and I had enough to eat to feed our growing young bodies. Her warmth and generosity made me feel always at home. She kept an eye on us, but never got in our way or reprimanded us when we surely deserved a scolding. If either of our parents ever knew about half the hi jinks John and I were involved in, they may have grounded us for months. I think that a true part who I am today is because of the example set by your Mom. For that I will always be grateful for her.
My Sympathies,
Jim (aka Jamie) Archer
