January 19, 1977 ~ January 28, 2024 (age 47) 47 Years Old

Tribute

Arnelson Mangandi Martinez passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Tracy, CA, just nine days after celebrating his 47th birthday. He was born in the Philippines in the small town of Aduas, Paniqui-Tarlac on Wednesday, January 19, 1977, to Ester A. (Mangandi) & Antonio Cruz Martinez.

To pursue the American Dream, Arnelson immigrated to the U.S.A. with his mother Ester and 5 siblings (Ramel, Randy, Mary Jane, Johny and Marvin) on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 1989, where they joined there father Antonio and the rest of there siblings (Renato, Rolando, and Marivic) who arrived in America years earlier.

Better known as Arnel, he was raised on the central coast of California in a small agriculture town of Soledad. He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1995. After graduating high school, Arnel moved to Northern California in the city of San Jose to further his education and graduated from a nearby technical school a couple of years later.

Arnel's journey in life was marked by a quiet but powerful presence. He was a man of few words when it comes to private matters, yet his actions spoke volumes about his character. His love for working with his hands was not just a hobby but a way of life. This passion led him to a successful career as an HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) professional, a field where he excelled due to his meticulous attention to detail and his innate understanding of complex systems. Arnel was the ultimate swiss army knife.

A cherished individual known for his laid-back demeanor, keen observational skills, and a passion for understanding the inner workings of everything around him.

His professional path took a significant turn when he embarked on a business partnership with his friend, Hardeep. Together, they built a company that not only showcased Arnel's technical expertise but also his work ethic. He was known for his hard work and dedication, traits that earned him respect in his professional circle.

Despite his achievements, Arnel lived a simple life. A family oriented man. He was always looking out for his family, making sure they were in good hands no matter the circumstances and providing them unconditional love. He believed in the beauty of simplicity and found joy in the small things. His approach to life was a reminder to all who knew him that happiness is often found in quiet moments and in doing what we love.

Arnel's legacy is not just in the successful business he helped build or in the projects he completed. It's in the lives he touched with his unassuming nature, his willingness to lend a hand, and his ability to listen without judgment. He will be remembered as a man who could find solutions where others saw problems and as someone who made a difference in the world in his own unique way.

We will deeply miss Arnel's quiet strength, his observant eyes, and his capable hands. As we say goodbye, we also say thank you - for the lessons he taught us, for the time we shared, and for the quiet impact he made on our lives.

Arnel was preceded in death by his younger brother Marvin and younger sister Rowena.

He’s survived by his parents, Ester and Antonio. His brothers (Renato, Rolando, Ramel, Randy, Johny) and Sisters (Marivic, MaryJane)
