On Sunday the 12th of December, God sent his angels down to bring another angel home to heaven at the age of 89. Her name was Barbara Rebeiro and her loving family were all surrounding her to send her home to heaven. Barbara was born to Manuel and Eva Neves of Tracy on October 8, 1932. Her family lived on a small dairy on West Grant Line Road. Barbara attended Tracy schools beginning with West Park and graduating from Tracy High School in 1950. After graduating, she married her first husband Frank Rebeiro and worked along side him on his family’s dairy. Barbara’s life was centered around her family. She was always active in her children’s 4-H, FFA helping raise animals at the county fair and at St. Bernard’s School. Barbara worked for H.J. Heinz Co. for approximately 30 years, as a forklift driver. After retiring from H. J. Heinz Co. Barbara went on to open her own dress shop downtown Tracy called Rebeiro’s Large & Lovely Fashions. After retiring from her business she met and married her second husband Gene Wasoski, they traveled many places with many friends, with their motor home. She is survived by her daughter Claudette (Richard) Medeiros, and her son Dale Rebeiro. She was also blessed with her grandchildren, Erica (Ron) Hall, Eva Rainer, Joseph (Katera) Snelling, Chad Kidd, Tiffany Rebeiro, Paul Rebeiro Jr., Ashley (Richard) Tullis, and Desiree Rebeiro. Her great grandchildren, Kevin, Joseph, Derek, and Amelia Saenz, Brandon, Caydon, and Chase Rainer, Hunter and Lincoln Snelling, Dominic and Julian Soto, Jackson Kidd and Bryce Rebeiro and Jonathon Rebeiro. Also several special nieces, nephews and Godchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Eva Neves; her two sons, Frank, and Paul Rebeiro, foster son Manuel Neves, her first husband Frank Rebeiro and her current husband Gene Wasoski. Her brother Manuel (Shorty) Neves and her two sisters Rose Affonso and Marie Furtado. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy, CA. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy. Burial at Tracy Public Cemetery.
