Betty Dean Guzman

Betty Dean Chaparro was born in Colorado in 1951, and moved to Tracy CA as an infant. She graduated from Tracy High School and after attended Fresno State College. After college she obtained employment with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. Betty retired in 2019 after 46 years. Betty was married at the age of 26 to Louis Guzman of Tracy. She had two daughters Gina and Felicia. She loved reading, gardening, shopping and traveling. Betty was an avid sports fan, she loved the Giants and the Warriors. Her time spent with her family was the most special to her. Betty Guzman is survived by her daughters Gina Guzman and Felicia Scrivner, their husband’s Virgil and Stanley, her grandchildren: Valerie and Stephanie Guzman, Virgil-Louis Vidal, Madison and Morgan Scrivner all of Modesto CA.
Brothers: Manuel Chaparro, Robert Chaparro, Porfidio Garcia, and Larry Fragoso. Sisters: Jessica Tova, Isabel Fragoso, Delores and Mabel Chaparro. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Cesaria Chaparro, Amado and Vera Chaparro. Her siblings/uncles: David, Daniel, Marcello, Cristobal Chaparro, and Manuel Gutierrez. Sister/aunt Vera Gutierrez.
