Welcome to the memorial page for

Cecilia Rich

November 30, 2017
Cecilia “Ceci” Rich, 58, returned to her Father in Heaven November 30, 2017, in Ogden, Utah, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 17, 1958, to the late Vicente Catarino Rodriguez & Rosalia “Nana” Becerra Rodriguez. Born and raised in Tracy, California, she attended Lammersville Elementary and Tracy High School.
In her younger years, she worked at Laura Scudder’s and then at the Tracy Defense Depot. When she married her husband, Richard, she moved to various locations. She worked for various school districts during this time, doing jobs that ranged from yard duty to prepping food for lunch. She always made a loving home and friends wherever she lived. Sister Rich was a devoted LDS church member. She was always helping out at her church with various functions. One of the ways was with her cooking. She loved to cook and bake; she had a passion for it since her days in high school working in the Feast Lab. Our family always wanted to go to her house and eat. Tia Ceci would always smile and say, “Come on over.” Cecilia could light up a room with her smile and warmth, always the first to give you a hug and tell you she loves you. However, those she cared for most were the men in her life: husband Richard and sons Erik, Mark, Jacob, and John. Cecilia was a mother to many and a friend to all; loved by all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.
Cecilia leaves behind her devoted husband of 25 years, Richard Willis Rich, and their four sons & their families, Erik Escatel, wife Connie & son Erik Escatel Jr.; Mark Eaton & family; Jacob Rich, wife Veronica & son Tyler; and John Rich. She also leaves her siblings, Teresa Martinez (Matias), Cruz Rodriguez (Mickey Dominguez), Vincent Rodriguez, Martha Eddy (Tom), Rosemary Rodriguez (Ed DeAna), Manuel Rodriguez (Juanita), and Catherine Rodriguez Toste.
