Daniel Borba Leonardo

Daniel (Danny) Borba Leonardo, age 47, passed away September 24, 2021 due to an unexpected illness. He was born on March 20, 1974 in Newman, California to Antonio (Tony) and Maria Leonardo. He married the love of his life, Rebecca Lynn Leonardo (Willis) on August 8, 1998. They were blessed with two children: Zackery Daniel Leonardo (18) and Hailey Elizabeth Leonardo (16).

Danny loved motorcycles and camping and spending time with his family and friends. There really wasn’t anything Danny couldn’t fix or restore. His shop “Leonardo Garage” was a place many people would come to hang out, visit, and work on things. More than anything, Danny loved helping people. Whether it was car troubles, house/yard projects, or advice on any number of topics, Danny was always a call or text away. Regardless of the occasion, Danny had a way of lifting up the spirits of the people around him with his infectious smile and laugh.

Danny’s life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Danny is survived by his wife (Rebecca), children (Zackery & Hailey), his parents (Tony & Maria), siblings (Tony, David, Lea, & Luciano), and many nephews and nieces. He loved all of them so much and touched them all deeply.
