Daniel "Danny" E. Vaca

Daniel Earnest Vaca or as we all know him as Danny, a beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away on August 30, 2023 in Modesto at the age of 64. He was surrounded by his sisters at the time of his passing. He was born April 13, 1959 in French Camp, CA to the late Esther (Franco) & Frank Corona Vaca.
Danny lived in Tracy for a number of years before moving to Modesto, where he lived with his best friend Stan. Danny graduated from Tracy HIgn and played football. He worked at Ameron Pipe.
He is survived by his brother Frankie, sisters Rosemary (Ronald), Connie, Helen, Margaret, Patsy, and Martha, and his lifetime companion Cecilia, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He will be forever remembered for his selfless and loving caring heart. He always was there for his family and friends. He had kind words and a good laugh for you when you needed it. He was an avid Oakland Raiders and A's fan. He would watch football every Sunday or whatever day it was on with Stan. It didn't matter he and Stan made a pack to watch the Raiders for life.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 165 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy. He will be laid to rest immediately following at the Tracy Public Cemetery 501 E. Schulte Rd., Tracy. Chapel services wills be live-streamed via his tribute page at www.frymemorialchapel.com for family & friends unable to attend. An online guest book is also available for condolences and special messages to the family.
