Darnell Manuel Batel

Darnell M. Batel passed away on January 22, 2018 after a short illness.
Darnell was born in Antioch, CA. on August 27, 1942. He graduated from
Antioch High School in 1961. He served in the US Air Force as a mechanic
working on B52 Bombers. Darnell moved to Tracy in 1986 and went to
work as a mechanic at the H.J. Heinz Co. until it closed.

Darnell enjoyed traveling until declining health kept him close to home.
He liked his morning walks with his wife Sue. Darnell loved to research
his family history on ancestry.com and was happy to share information
with other family members.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years Sue Batel; children
Jacynda Shepard; Michelle Batel; Nicole Griffith and Steven Mott; sister
Rose Miller; Nephew Craig Miller (Roseann); Niece Susan Bedford (Scott);
Five Grand Children and four Great Grand Children.
