David Neil Lammerts

David Neil Lammerts, 39, of Tracy, CA passed away on February 10, 2018.   He was born in Upland, CA on April 4, 1978.  He had lived in Tracy for the past 12 years and worked at Tracy Unified School District for 9 years.  
He loved to spend time camping at the family property in the Mojave Desert and would make sure a new flag was raised every year.  He was a die-hard Raiders fan and had memorabilia and clothing to show it.  He was a hard worker, he would do anything for anyone and he was a great son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.  But his most significant distinction was Father.  Rhianna and Cody were the number one priority in his life and his love for them showed in everything he did.  He never missed a sporting event or weekend-long tournament.  He focused on every detail when it came to them and he often went without so they would have everything they needed or wanted.  Every decision or lifestyle choice was with them in mind. 
Services were held at Fry Memorial Chapel on February 24th and a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge followed.   He wanted a party so that’s what he got!  Food, family, friends and a DJ.  He said, “play some Kid Rock for me”, so we did!
David will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.  Our only joy is that we know we will see him again.   Love you David.
