Davis Lo passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018 at Saint Jude’s Care Center in Manteca, CA.
Davis was born in Shanxi Provence China to Tzu-Jen Lo and Fin-Chu Chen.
Davis immigrated to Taipei, Taiwan 1947-1967. It was here he met and married Dr. Kusing Ting in 1951. They had three sons. He then immigrated with his family to Libya in 1967-1971. Davis and Kusing then immigrated to Trinidad 1971-1974. Davis and his wife Kusing finally joined their sons in the United States first in Philadelphia where Davis completed his X-ray Technology Training. They the then resided for a short time in Chicago before moving to Saint Louis where they spent the majority of their life together.
Davis was very active in the Saint Louis Chapter of The Chinese Cultural Society serving in various positions including President for many years. He also formed the Chinese Opera Society. In his younger days he performed on stage singing and playing the Chinese Urlu. Davis was also a writer of Chinese Calligraphy and Poetry.
Davis is survived by his wife of 66 years Dr. Kusing Lo, His sister Jin Lo from Beijing China, His eldest son Dr. Joseph Lo (Catherine), Daughter in Law Karen Lo, Youngest son Dr. Larry Lo (Annie), Eight Grandchildren: Justin (Megan), Benjamin (MiMi), Alexander, Larry, Christopher, Patrick, Matthew (Cecelia), Kathleen and one Great Granddaughter Kaia James named for his second son James Lo.
He was predeceased by his parents, seven sisters, one brother, and his son Dr. James Lo; who passed away June 23, 2018.
