Donald Eugene Castellon passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 76. Just one day shy of celebrating his 23rd wedding anniversary with his bride Judy.
Donald was born in Fresno and moved to French Camp for his school years, graduating from Manteca High School. He worked in Stockton for the Railroad for 19 years before working at Public Works in the City of Tracy, where he and Judy live. Don recently retired after 29 years as a Maintenance Worker II for the city.
Donald enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a man of few words but you always knew you were loved. He also was a car racing fan, especially NASCAR, and at one time was the Track Photographer for the Altamont and Stockton99 speedways. Don was also an enthusiast of fishing and target shooting and would go any chance he could. He was passionate about a good cup of coffee. Don was a silent servant, always helping behind the scenes, especially if he was paid with cookies. He loved his church, St Paul’s of Tracy, where he gave his life to Jesus, his Lord and Savior.
Donald is survived by his wife Judy; children DeAnna Buyco (Pete), Ashley DeLongpre, Kami Jones (Brandon) and Megan Williams (Randy); grandchildren Sarello Buyco, Hannah Castillo, Emery Williams, Colton Jones and Caiden Jones; great-granddaughter Olivia Castillo; cousin Donna Noceti (Bill) and brother in law Charles Bland (Darla).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday November 16, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1635 Chester Drive, Tracy, CA 95376. For condolences to the family, please visit www.frymemorialchapel.com
