Dorothy loved going to Perko’s with family and friends and doing puzzles. She was an avid animal lover who spent countless hours feeding and caring for stray animals. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church here in Tracy.
Ms. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh, and parents, Ruby and Ollie Buckner. She is survived by her son, Craig and wife Jane, and her twin daughters, Sandy Cunningham and boyfriend Brian and Cathy Gehring and husband Lee. She also leaves behind her sister, Gloria Goebel; her brother, Ken Buckner; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was well-known as a kind and loving person. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on July 6 at the First Baptist Church, 1935 Holly Drive, Tracy. She will be laid to rest at Tracy Public Cemetery.
