Dulla Edwards

Dulla Edwards passed away peacefully on April 30, 2022. She was born December 18, 1928, in San Francisco, CA. She moved to Tracy with her family in 1930. She attended Tracy Public Schools and graduated from Tracy High School.
In 1952, she married William “Bill” Edwards and they began their life together raising four children. Dulla worked as a secretary for many years in Tracy, but her true passion was being mom to her three daughters and son. Dulla’s family was the most important part of her life. She loved watching her daughters. “The Edwards Sisters”, perform at various events throughout the San Joaquin Valley and watching her son play a variety of sports, and then many years later watching her grandsons play as well. She loved to cook, knit, sew and was an avid reader. She truly enjoyed her “ladies sewing group” and the long-lasting friendships that came with it.
She is survived by her brother, Larry Bardacos (Carole); her children, Nancy Traina (Wayne), Judy Frerichs, and Bob Edwards (Diane) and her son-in-law; Rich Mattos. 10 grandchildren Zach Traina (Julie), Josh Traina (Kate), Justin Mattos (Vanessa), Simon Mattos (Karen), Preston Mattos (Ronnee), Mindy Bogetti (Clayton), Andrew Frerichs, Brad Edwards (Katrina), Tyson Edwards and Jace Edwards. 15 Great Grandchildren, Sydney, Ella and Kaliah Traina, Chase, Wyatt, Kayden, Kendyl, Lennon and Hayes Mattos, Emerson Frerichs-Silveria, Brock and Landri Bogetti and Brayden, Kaia and Ziggy Edwards.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Edwards and daughter Janice Mattos.
Fry Memorial Chapel is in care of funeral arrangements. Ms. Edwards was laid to rest at Tracy Public Cemetery during a private service.
