A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday for former Tracy resident Edgardo Ignacio, 70, who died Friday November 5th at Clearwater Healthcare Center in Stockton.
A native of the Philippines, Mr. Ignacio received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines. Mr. Ignacio immigrated to the United States on October 12, 1988 to join his wife and daughter. He lived in Tracy for 13 years and spent the last four years at the Clearwater Healthcare Center in Stockton. Mr. Ignacio worked as a chip manufacturer for AMD for several years before transitioning to selling life insurance. He was known for his charismatic personality and his hardworking persona. If he wasn’t trying to sell you life insurance, he was getting to know you personally and making a new friend.
Aside from being a hardworking man, Mr. Ignacio also loved watching movies, spending time with his family, or spending his day with his wife. He was a loving husband, father, father in-law, and grandfather. Mr. Ignacio is survived by his wife Zenaida Ignacio, his first born and son in-law Emilyzen Cervantes and Roy Cervantes as well as his grandkids Malcolm Cervantes and Rey Cervantes, his second, Alejandro Ignacio, and his youngest and daughter in-law, Jimkyle Ignacio and Reveca Rangel.
