Ellen Leyden

Ellen Leyden, 85, passed away at home on November 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 7, 1936 in Dublin, Ireland. She was a Tracy resident for 33 years. She worked at JC Penney’s for more than 20 years, where she met several of her closest and dearest friends.
Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Lorraine Coffey, Sylvia Ryan, and Margaret Leyden, her granddaughters Erin Coffey, Samantha Coffey and Alexis Martinez, son-in-law Robert Coffey and grandson-in-law Richard Martinez, her brothers Denis Ryan and Desmund Ryan and sister Angela Hunt.
Ellen is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Ellen Ryan, brother Sean Ryan, sister Cathy Ryan and the love of her life, husband James Leyden.
