Eugene served our Country during the Korean War. He worked and retired as a Mechanic from H. J. Heinz in Tracy, California. He loved to build/restore classic old cars and show them in car shows. He was a great competitor in his younger years, drag racing his Roadsters at the old Kingdom Drag strip and Bonneville Salt Flats. He was a proud member of the Modesto Century Toppers and the Tracy Moose Club. Gene was the one that family and friends always looked for to repair anything, no matter what trade was needed to complete the job, Gene could do it. He was the one called on for repairs at his family ranch any day of the week and always showed up with a radiant smile ready to help. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
