Born in Cerano, Guanajuato, Mexico on July 28, 1964, died on June 17, 2020 at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton. Preceded in death by Nicandro Bedolla Tapia & Adela García Chávez. A former resident of Vallejo and Oakland he lived in Tracy for the past 27 years. Suvivors include his wife of 33 years, Maricela Morelos-Bedolla; children, Mateo Morelos Bedolla and Diego Morelos Bedolla of Tracy, CA; surviving siblings, Juan Ernesto Bedolla of Orem, UT; Ricardo Bedolla Chávez of San Antonio, TX; Miguel Bedolla Chávez of Orem, UT; Jaime Bedolla Chávez of American Canyon, CA; José Alfredo Bedolla Chávez of Cerano, Guanajuato, Mexico; Martha Alicia Bedolla Chávez of Vallejo, CA; Hector Manuel Bedolla Chávez of American Canyon, CA; and Rosa Bedolla Chávez, of Vallejo, CA. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. He will be remembered as ‘Mati’, ‘Gil’, ‘Jilacho’ and ‘Gilón’. He loved to dance with his wife Maricela to his favorite banda music. A loving father, brother, uncle & friend to many. He came to the U.S. at 15 years of age and worked in the fields of Salinas. He moved to Oakland and there started his long career in construction. He started working with his godfather Mundo Alire and then went on to work with Sanburn/ SelectBuild, GNB Construction, and lastly he became an Area Supervisor at Production Framing, Inc. in Roseville, CA. He’s known around town and by many friends as the guy in the big red truck. He attended Saint Bernard's Catholic Church, enjoyed gardening, walking, carpentry, dancing, listening to music, going to Red Hawk and visiting his beloved hometown of Cerano, Guanajuato, Mexico. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family, whether it was hanging around the pool, talking about his adventures as a kid or watching a movie together, he cherished having his family around. Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 1 to 9:00 PM @ Fry Memorial Chapel 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy, CA (209) 836-1970 Rosary Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5:00PM. Live streaming available starting at 4:55 p.m. on Friday at frymemorialchapel.com. Internment at Tracy Public Cemetery will be private due to state restrictions.
