Irene Dudley, 100 years young, a longtime resident of Tracy, CA since 1989, went to be with her Lord at approximately 1:40 a.m. on July 1st 2018 at her son’s home in Hanford, CA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9th, 2018 at Fry Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Tracy Public Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Dudley was born December 3rd 1917 in Bennington, Oklahoma, to John and Bertha Harrington, and grew up as one of 13 children (including her twin sister Lorene). She was married to Homer Dudley on October 23rd 1937.
Mrs. Dudley worked in numerous occupations over her lifetime including a Copper Mine in Morenci Arizona, School Cafeteria’s, and while a resident of Tracy CA she worked as a caregiver and for Tracy Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a proud longtime member of the Center of Hope Church in Tracy CA.
Survivors include two children, Suzan Hancock of Dacono, CO, and Paul Dudley of Hanford, CA. Six grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also survived by her only surviving sibling, her sister Louise Bryant of Anadarko, OK.
Mrs. Dudley was compassionate, kind, loving, and giving person who touched everyone she came in contact with and she will be truly missed by all, but it is her time to be rejoicing with her Lord, reuniting with all those who passed before her, and enjoying everlasting life in Heaven.
