Jeremiah Daniel Jesus Leos, 23 years old, passed away on June 23, 2020 at his home in Stockton, CA. Jeremiah was born on January 30, 1997 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. As a child of two U. S. Marines, Jeremiah resided aboard multiple military bases and cities throughout the US – including:
Jacksonville, NC; Quantico, VA; Waldorf, MD; San Diego, CA; Blufton, SC; Fort Worth, TX; and most recently, Stockton, CA.
Jeremiah was the son of Jesus S. Leos Jr (Stacey), of Fort Worth, TX and Tabatha A. Maxie (Edward), of Stockton, CA. He played varsity football and was on the wrestling team at Weston Ranch High School, graduating in 2016. He enjoyed playing all sports, fishing, camping, mudding and loved spending time with his family and friends in his off-time. Jeremiah started his work career after high school with Southwest Traders as a delivery truck driver and most recently worked as a warehouseman and delivery driver with Windustrial Supply Co in Stockton, CA.
Jeremiah was a sweet, loving young man with an enormous heart and a smile that lit up the room.
He is survived by his parents - Jesus S. Leos Jr and Tabatha A. Maxie, his siblings - Tyrah Mayas, Jordyn Leos, Isaiah Maxie, and Zachary Bates, his aunt - Damaris Vargas of Stafford, VA, his grandmothers - Victoria M. Leos of Seguin, TX and Alice Vargas of Queens, NY, and numerous other family members that loved him dearly.
Fry Memorial Chapel is in care of his arrangements. Services will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Fry Memorial Chapel with a visitation from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. and a prayer service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
