John William Thomassen

John William Thomassen
Age 52, of Tracy, passed away Monday,
January 21, 2019 at 2:46 am in Community
Hospital of Monterey Peninsula. He was
born in Brunssum, Netherlands as the son of Lambertus
and Irene Thomassen. John married Kim
Thomassen, on August 22, 1992. John
was a Senior Estimator at Teichert Construction, and worked
in the industry for over 30 years. He was
a sports enthusiast with a special passion for the
Ohio State Buckeyes. He made sure to pass this
along to his boys. He loved coaching and teaching
his sons the game of baseball, creating an everlasting bond.
He took the opportunity to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his father, Lambertus, and preceded
in death by his mother Irene; his wife, Kim; his
children, Josh and Lisa, and their child, Noah; Jason
and Ana, and their children, Kevin, Kayden
and Kaleb; Jacob and Heather; and Justin. He is
also survived by his siblings, Regina and
Tom Draper and their children, Mike and
Andrew of Utah; Cindy and Lindsey Manis
and their children, Samantha and Tyler
of Florida; Tom and Rebecca Thomassen and
their children, J.T, JoDee, and Jonathan of Ohio.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January
25, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Fry Memorial Chapel,
at 550 South Central Ave. Burial will be in
Tracy Public Cemetery.
