Tribute

Jorge Luis  Sanchez was born on November 16, 1956 in la Havana Cuba to his parents Arcadio Sanchez and Edita zaldivar. He loved to tell story’s of riding  his bicycle by El Malecon in Cuba when he was a child . His parents provided a well off life  for him and his sister in Cuba. When Jorge was 11 his father unfortunately passed away from a heart attack. Due to the recent take over of Fidel Castro his fathers Assets where seized and the whole family was up rooted and had to move to Chicago Illinois. He continued school until he had to work to help support his family. After a few years the whole family decided to move to Miami Florida. While working at a gas station he met the love of his life Beatriz illuminada Gonzalez Delsol.
They started their journey together in 1977. Their first child the amazing Jorge Luis Sanchez Jr was born in Miami Florida 1979. A few years later they decided to move to California where they had their beautiful daughter Beatriz Sanchez. After a few moves back and forth between California and Florida they finally decided to plant their roots in Santa Clara California.
In 1986 they dedicate their lives to the Lord. Through their journey as Christians they made lifelong bonds with amazing people who to this day we call family. Jorge was a true entrepreneur for the majority of his life. He owned many businesses from restaurants to laundromats to landscaping . In 1987 Omega Painting was born. This is where his true passion began his painting career. When he had an idea in his head no one could stop him from pursuing it. He was a man that turned his dreams into realities.
On March 12 th 2014 the love of his life Beatriz passed away. Although they were no longer together they remained close friends who always looked out for each other. Soon after her passing  he began to experience health issues. In 2015 he became a permanent resident of Tracy California to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Even though his health was declining he never stop trying to work and nothing could stop him from being at all the family functions and events. He adored and loved his family and made it a point to always be present.
Ironically on March 12, 2021 on the anniversary of Beatriz passing Jorge had massive stroke, he fought hard for three long months but God had a different plan for him. His hilarious stories and charismatic ways will be dearly missed by all of those he touched. His passion for God ,life ,family, and work will not be matched …yet will be missed remembered forever!
