Josephine Nettie Luna

Josephine Nettie Luna, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home on April 2, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 26, 1937 in San Jose California to Manuel and Jennie Ramirez.  She married Peter A. Luna on December 12, 1959 who preceded her in death in 1996.

Josephine was a dedicated mother first and foremost.  She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them.  She especially loved her role as a grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, reading, word searches, going for walks, dancing, and singing to her grandchildren.  Josie had an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

She is survived by her children – Irene, Lisa, Stella, Peter and Richard, and her 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
