Julian Palomarez also known as “BoBo” to many, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 11, 2019 at the age of 87.
Julian was born on June 19, 1931 in Tracy, California. Son of Eduardo Palomarez and Adela Hernandez. Julian resided in Tracy his entire life and retired from H. J. Heinz Company after 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Constance Palomarez and 9 children; Elaine Palomarez of Stockton, Sonia Palomarez Basurto of Tracy, Diane Thomas of Tracy, Hope Palomarez Granados (12/6/1952-2/12/2018) of Ceres, Pinky Wallis of Tracy, Patricia Gomez of Tracy, Rosemarie Lara of Stockton, Alice (Haki) Guzman of Modesto and Steve Espinoza of Tracy. Julian has thirty-three grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren. His siblings are Tony Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez, Eduardo “Tito” Palomarez, Gilbert Palomarez, Annie Salas, Ramona Grijalva, Lillian Campos, Emily Gonzalez, Adeline Baca.
Julian was predeceased by his parent’s father Eduardo Palomarez and mother Adela Hernandez, siblings, Tony Ramirez, Manual Ramirez, Gilbert Palomarez, Annie Salas, Ramona Grijalva, Lillian Campos, Emily Gonzalez, Adeline Baca, daughter Hope Palomarez Granados and a host of nieces and nephews and a great-grandchild.
Besides spending time with his family, Julian loved travelling with his wife. He loved their rides to Laughlin, AZ; we all know he was very fond of gambling and had the best luck. He had a passion for solving puzzles, reading books and newspapers, yardwork, caring for his dogs and watching the Giants and SF 49er’s, those were his teams! Julian had a bright energic personality. He will always be remembered for his long talks, many, many stories and jokes. He will be remembered by several grandchildren for picking them up from school and a treat to ice-cream or trip to the park. In the past few years he was robbed of his memory, strength and stamina which brought a different side of him his family never endured. During this time, it taught his family patience and allowed his family to show him a small measure of what he had long showed them. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life. His memory will be cherished by his family as he was so loved by many.
