Keith Brian Curry

Keith Brian Curry was born February 15th, 1959 at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley. Survived by- Erica Derosier (daughter), Brittany Curry (daughter), Brandon Curry (Son), Greg Curry (brother), Kaelyn Derosier (granddaughter), and Grayson Derosier (grandson). He graduated from Dublin High in 1977 to later work as an Ironworker in the Union and then Elevator Union for 16 years. He was an incredibly hard worker and took pride in his work. As he drove by buildings, he would point out which ones he worked on and tell you the mechanics of what he did. He enjoyed having long winded conversations with his family and friends and tell you about all the amazing things he did. He had a love for music and attending concerts such as The Rolling Stones, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Lenard Skynyrd, Neil Young, just to name a few. He loved to blast his music, jam out, and sing the lyrics. He loved the Oakland A’s and would never miss a game. He enjoyed watching them play and calling up his brother Greg or one of his kids to talk about the game. He also loved going to the movie theatres or kicking back and watching a movie at his house. He was truly a movie buff and has seen almost every movie you can think of. He was a Siamese cat lover and you can always find his cat Samson (Sammy, Sabmo) sitting on his lap. He was always positive and optimistic despite what he was going through. He is going to be deeply missed and he left an amazing footprint on so many lives. His services will be held on 6/27 at 1pm at Frys Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family is welcoming any financial donations towards his services. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You’re loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.”
