Kevin Plimmer, 59 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Sutter
Community Hospital in Tracy, California.
Kevin was born on December 27th, 1962 in Great Lakes, Illinois to Emmett and Jeanie Plimmer
(Anjo). He was the middle of three children. He was raised in a military family and traveled
throughout his younger years but mostly grew up in Pearl City, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. At
the age of thirteen his family moved to Fremont, Ca. where he attended American High School.
In 1982 he met his wife Lori, at a grocery store he worked at in Newark Ca. They married in
May of 1987. In 1991, they moved to Dublin, Calif where they raised their two sons Michael
and Aaron. In 2016, Kevin and his wife moved to Mountain House Ca to be close to their three
After graduating from Apprenticeship school at Laney College, Kevin worked for 35 years in the
construction industry. He worked for Kaiser Permanente cabinet shop for close to 30 years,
starting out as a cabinet maker and quickly moved his way up into management. He managed
the Berkeley cabinet shop successfully for over 20 years. He was a member of the Carpenter
Union 2236 and retired in April of 2019.
Kevin loved his career but it was nothing compared to his love for his family. He enjoyed
spending time with family. coaching little league and pop warner football for his sons teams,
taking family vacations, eating good food, watching sports, and fishing. He was a good man
with great integrity and kindness. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Lori of 35 years, sons Michael and Aaron (Ashlee), grandchildren
Hunter, Ari, and Tyson, mother Jeanie, brother Keith, sister Terri (Jim).
A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Fry Memorial
Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue in Tracy, California.
