Leila Evangeline Duchene

Leila E. Duchene, 101 passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at New Hope Care in Tracy, California. She was born in Faribault, Minnesota on January 29, 1917 to the late John “Jack” and Gertrude Balfe. Ms. Duchene has called Tracy home for nearly 20 years; she has worked several different jobs throughout her lifetime but enjoyed being a wife & stay at home mother the most.
Leila has resided in Tracy for the 20 years.
Ms. Duchene leaves behind three sons, Roland Duchene & wife Penny; Gary Duchene & wife Carol; Ronald Duchene; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, all eight of her siblings and two of her children Richard Duchene and Patricia Krabell.
A Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Tracy Mausoleum.
