Born to parents Marcos & Maria Mory on October 17, 1943. Leng passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 77 after her courageous battle with cancer.
Leng is survived by her siblings, a sister, Carmelita Alfonso; a sister, Natividad Alcid; a sister, Ester Gaffud; a brother, Rodulfo Mory; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Leng’s love of life and its simple pleasures brought her great joy. Her outgoing and pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.
She was the life of the party and always wanted to make people smile.
She was an entrepreneur who started her own business in the Bay Area with her first table side on Mission Street renting movies which grew into her own storefront renting movies, selling goods and the first business in Daly City to introduce and sell karaoke machines. She was awarded in her community for Entertainment Person of the Year after running her own Radio Station and producing a Concert featuring local artist & Vegas headliner, all of Filipino decent. She then opened a successful restaurant and laundromat.
She was a devout member and officer of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, (Church Of Christ) in the locales of Sampaloc, Philippines; San Francisco, CA; Redwood City, CA; Sacramento, CA; Fremont, CA; Tracy, CA; and Vista, CA.
Funeral Viewing and Burial is scheduled for 9 am on July 2, 2021 at the Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Avenue, Tracy CA 95376.
