Leonardo Verduzco Silva was born in Tracy, California on Monday December 2, 1985. He was the youngest son of Mauricio Verduzco and Maria E. Silva de Verduzco from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Baby brother to Araceli E. Verduzco Silva, Miriam Verduzco Silva and Mauricio E. Verduzco Silva. He was brother-in-law to Julie Sharp, but the title he was the proudest of was of Tio to Esteban. Leonardo was proud of his Mexican roots and had no qualms about demonstrating them. As the baby of the family, he would get away with everything! His huge cheeser lit up any room. Always the jokester---he truly enjoyed life. He was affectionately known to his family and friends as Leo. 
Since the beginning, Leo’s light shined bright! As a young boy growing up on Palm Circle, in Tracy—he friended anyone who was kind. His Palm Circle Homies have grown up together and throughout the years, have remained close friends. He began his educational career at Hawkins-Thompson Child Development Center. He was always a fun loving, happy go lucky boy. At the age of five, he started elementary school at South-West Park, and discovered video games.  A hobby that he enjoyed all his life. It is there that he also began his love with math. Middle school brought him to Earl E. Williams where he discovered rap, and his ability to sing in both English and Spanish. Leo graduated from Merrill F. West High School in June 2003. Always the one to challenge himself, he went off to San Jose State with an idea to go into computer science. 
For the past 18 years, San Jose California helped shape Leo into the extraordinary man he was. It was there that he met his San Jose Posse, additional lifelong friends, whose loyalty he never questioned. He enjoyed camping, hanging out and was always a hard worker. He worked in fast food, sales, customer service, banking and insurance. But the job he enjoyed the most was his assistant manager position at Paper Plane. He started as security and worked his way up to his last position. He truly enjoyed contributing to the Downtown San Jose vibe. He loved his other city----and it was apparent San Jose loved him back. 
In May 2017 he spoke to who would become the love of his life for the first time, Ms. Elizabeth Figueroa. For the past four years they formed a beautiful love story that will remain eternal. 
Leo will be missed, but he lives in our hearts forever!

Visitation will be held at Fry’s Memorial Chapel located at 550 South Central Avenue in Tracy, California on Wednesday June 30th, 2021. Open to family and friends from 3pm to 9 pm. Rosary will be held at 6 pm. 
Mass will be held at 11 am at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church located at 163 West Eaton Ave. Tracy, California
He will be laid to rest at Tracy Public Cemetery at a later date, which will be held privately.

Leonardo Verduzco Silva nació en Tracy, California el Lunes 2 de Diciembre de 1985. Era el hijo menor de Mauricio Verduzco y María E. Silva de Verduzco originarios de Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Hermanito de Araceli E. Verduzco Silva, Miriam Verduzco Silva y Mauricio E. Verduzco Silva. Era cuñado de Julie Sharp, pero el título del cual estaba más orgulloso era de Tío de Esteban. Leonardo estaba orgulloso de sus raíces Mexicanas, y no tenía escrúpulos de demostrarlo. Como el bebe de la familia, se le perdonaba todo! Su sonrisa alumbraba cualquier lugar. Siempre se la pasaba bromeando---él siempre gozo su vida! El fue conocido afectuosamente por su familia y amigos como Leo. 
Desde el comienzo, la luz de Leo brilló radiantemente! De joven, se crió en la calle de Palm Circle en Tracy. Le ofrecía su amistad a cualquier persona que era amable con él. Sus Palm Circle Homies se criaron juntos y hasta la fecha han mantenido su amistad. Su carrera educativa comenzó en Hawkins-Thompson Child Development Center. Siempre fue un niño divertido, amoroso y feliz. A los cinco años, comenzó la primaria en South-West Park y fue allí donde descubrió los videojuegos. Un pasatiempo que le duró toda la vida. Fue allí también que le nació el amor a las matemáticas. La secundaria la cursó en Earl E. Williams donde descubrió el rap y su habilidad de cantar en español e inglés. Leo se recibió de la preparatoria Merrill F. West High School en Junio del 2003.  Decidió que su próximo reto era estudiar ciencia de computación en la Universidad Estatal de San José. 
Los pasados 18 años, San José, California formó a Leo al hombre extraordinario que fue. Fue allí que conoció a su San Jose Posse, amistades para toda la vida, a las cuales su lealtad jamás cuestionó. Le encantaba ir a acampar y pasar tiempo con familia y amistades. Siempre fue muy trabajador. Trabajo en la comida rápida, servicio al cliente, en el banco y en los seguros. Pero el trabajo del cual más disfruto fue de subgerente en Paper Plane. Comenzó como seguridad, hasta llegar a su última posición. Realmente disfruto contribuir a la buena vibra del centro de San José. Amo su segunda cuidad---y es aparente que San José lo amo por igual. 
En Mayo 2017, habló por primera vez con quien sería el amor de su vida, la Srita. Elizabeth Figueroa. Por los últimos cuatro años formaron una hermosa historia de amor, que será eterna. 
Extrañaremos a Leo, pero vivirá siempre en nuestros corazones!

Visitación será el Fry 's Memorial Chapel localizada en 550 South Central Avenue en Tracy, California el Miércoles 30 de Junio de 2021. Abierto a familia y amistades de 3 pm a 9 pm. El rosario será a las 6 pm. 
La misa será a las 11 am en la iglesia católica de San Bernardo localizada en 163 West Eaton Avenue en Tracy, California. 
Descansará en Tracy Public Cemetery en una fecha posterior, en un servicio privado.
