Linda Uli, of Tracy, CA, passed away on August 10th, 2021 at the age of 68.
She was born February 5, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, to Armando E. Sanchez and Jeanne (Tissot) Sanchez. She was raised in Havana, Cuba until the age of seven when her family moved to Hollywood, Florida. Linda was a high-tech. training manager, a former real estate agent and licensed pilot trained by her father who was an FAA Inspector and former Captain for Cubana Airlines.
In 1995 she met her husband Edward Murphy Uli while working at the Corporate Law Offices of Fenwick & West LLP in Palo Alto, CA.They were married for 23 years. During their marriage they had traveled and explored the world together.
Art, music, fashion, health & fitness, cooking, interior decorating, gardening, world travel, her family, friends, neighbors and faith were all extremely important to Linda. She loved working out at the gym, hiking, playing tennis and chess with her husband. She also cherished the home and life they built together.
As a descendent of the famous French painter and illustrator, Jacques Joseph Tissot, she innately became a talented painter. She attended local art schools in New York and Florida where she painted reproductions of various JJ Tissot work. She was very proud of her best painting piece, the "Political Lady".
Her grandmother Irene (Clark) Tissot was a fashion model in high society New York and was very influential to Linda. Linda’s fashion sense was refined and elegant, her smile and vibrant charisma illuminated her classic beauty. Her soul was warm and always met others with kind and authentic love.
Linda worked as a professional computer technology trainer for various enterprise corporations in the high tech industry for over 30 years, including Apple Computers in Cupertino, CA; WebEx Inc in Santa Clara, CA; and most currently Cisco Systems in Santa Clara, CA. She customized, developed, and delivered various professional training programs for many Fortune Global 500 companies. She was a leader in her field and held various senior level positions earning her the Director of IT Training.
Preceded in death by her father Armando E. Sanchez, grandparents; Emilio Sánchez Martí & Acracia Ferrer Puig and Claude E. Tissot & Irene H. Clark. Linda is survived by her beloved husband Edward Murphy Uli; her mother Jeanne (Tissot) Sanchez; her son Christopher M. Daniels; her daughter-in-law Ivonne Villacis; and three grandsons, Lucas, Paxton, Rowan and many extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 10,2021 at Fry Memorial Chapel. Services will be live-streamed via her tribute page at www.frymemorialchapel.com An online guest book is also available for condolences and special messages to the family.
