On July 5, 2018, the sunset on the life of Linda Ray Marie Boutté, affectionately known as Oma. She was born in Ross, California on March 15, 1947 to Carlton and Beatrice Simien. Her life truly began on February 4, 1967 when she married the love of her life, Arsene St. Mary Boutté. This blessed union produced three beautiful children; Arsene St. Mary Boutté Jr., Roxanne Rachelle Campbell and Kimberly Dana Boutté.
Linda was a loving, nurturing, beautiful, kind and devoted wife and mommy. She lived for her family, they were her world and she was theirs. She was simply adored by them. There was so much love in the Boutté household that friends and family always wanted to be around. Sadly, sickness overcame Linda and she suffered for many years. Her passing is a blessing for she is no longer in pain but a great loss for her family and loved ones.
Linda will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 51 years, Arsene, 2 daughters; Roxanne and Kimberly, son in law, Thomas, 3 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones. We are comforted knowing that she is blessed and will rise when Jesus returns to take her home.
Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy; is honored to serve the Boutté Family. A Vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 11th at 7:00 pm with visiting hours from 3:00 to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11: 00 am on Thursday, July 12th at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 West Eaton Avenue, Tracy. Linda Ray will be laid to rest at the Tracy Public Cemetery., 501 East Schulte Road, Tracy. A Repass will be held at 3:00 pm at Golden Corral, 2850 West Grant Line Road, Tracy.
1 Thessalonians 4:16(KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
