Lois Marie Billeci

Lois Marie Billeci passed away peacefully at the age of 74, surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2020 in Salida, California.
Lois was born on December 13, 1946 to the parents of Leona Turner and James Moore in Kansas City, Missouri. Leona Turner then remarried to Jack Hokett who Lois called Dad.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Vic Billeci and daughter Renee and son Victor II Billeci.
She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Crough and Ester Benjamin and brothers Joe, William and Harry Hokett.
Lois loved traveling with her husband all over the world. They spent their time in Monterey, California enjoying the scene and eating seafood. Her favorite place was Black Oak Casino, everyone knew them there, it was like home to Lois and Vic.
Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
Lois lived with her Daughter Cleeta and Son-in Law Ray Afanador who took care of Lois who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had metastasized. They stood by her side as she passed away the day after her birthday.
Vic Billeci wrote this poem for her; he passed away August 23, 2020;
“Moments, precious moments that have the magic to make dreams come true
Dreams, precious dreams, and you, most of all, are so precious to me
Because you’re all I Love, all I want and all I’ll ever need.”
She will lovingly be remembered by all family and friends forever in our hearts
