Louise Pavone

June 3, 1943 ~ November 10, 2023 (age 80) 80 Years Old

Tribute

Louise was born on June 3, 1943 in a one room house in Cassville, Missouri. She was the oldest of six and right away, took on the role of caring for her younger siblings as her parents worked very hard to make a living. During her younger years, her family moved out to California and Louise was married and had two daughters, Melinda and Monica. She worked as a beautician at Sadie’s Salon in Manteca for many years until she had her son, Stephen. From then, Louise and her family worked in the farming industry and also owned a fruit stand on Highway 120. Louise’s family also started a well-known almond processing facility in Ripon, California. Louise was instrumental in growing the popularity of fruit stands throughout the valley, and also traveled the world educating other countries about almonds and their benefits. Upon retirement, Louise met the love of her life, Phil, and they moved back to Missouri to care for her parents as they aged. Louise and Phil had a thriving apartment, condo and rental house business in the Branson area of Missouri. They enjoyed living in Branson as they both had a love for music and entertainment. While in Branson, Louise’s patient demeanor paid off as she was known as an excellent fisherman! After 14 years in Missouri, Louise and Phil moved back to California where they have resided in Oakdale ever since. Louise and Phil were happily married for 30 years and enjoyed making memories with their many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Louise enjoyed gardening and was always sharing seeds with others to grow. She wrote many poems throughout her life, all of them full of humor and witty intelligence. Louise gave most of her grandkids and great grandkids their first haircut. She was a great cook, and was always excited to create new dishes! Louise will be remembered as a beautiful, strong, hard working woman with a wonderful laugh.
Louise is survived by her husband, Phil Pavone of Oakdale, her daughter, Melinda (Clint) Burgess of Ripon, her daughter, Monica Haug of Modesto, her son, Stephen Gikas of Ripon, her bonus son Sean (Janine) Pavone of Tracy, her bonus daughter Shannon (Matt) Reynolds of Portland, Oregon, her aunt, Millie Denney of Stockton, her uncle Kenny (Brenda) Bickford of Florida, her sister Judy (Dean) Chambers of Oklahoma, her brother Carl (Karen) Bickford, her brother Jimmy Bickford, her Brother Mike (Diane) Bickford all of Missouri and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
