Lupe Renee Massiatt

Lupe Renee Massiatt passed away peacefully at her home in Tracy surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, she was 91. Lupe was born on February 19, 1930 in Martinez, California to Joseph and Mary Mora, she was the second oldest of 10 children.
Lupe retired from Safeway after 25 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, cooking, dancing and spending time with her family. Lupe was a member at True Vine Fellowship Church. Lupe was an Elder of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoyed attending tribe events.
Lupe was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Lupe is survived by her loving children JoAnn (Alan) Brose of San Leandro, John (Angie) Massiatt of Lathrop, Margie (Henry) Quijada of Tracy, Richard (Juanita) Massiatt of Manteca, Lillian Irene (Brian) Anderson of Livermore, 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two loving sisters Frances (Mora) Smith, Virginia (mora) Massiet and two brothers Louie (Bonnie) Medina, Jesse (Lina) Ramos and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lupe was preceded in death by her loving husband George Massiatt.
Lupe’s beautiful smile and laughter will deeply be missed.
Family and friends are invited to Lupe’s Celebration of Life on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. and burial immediately following at Tracy Public Cemetery, Schulte Road.
