Lynne Vigesaa

Lynne Claire Vigesaa passed peacefully in her Tracy, CA home, on August 17, 2023, at the age of 80 years old. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.

Born July 10, 1943, in Northwood, ND to Myron Midstokke and Elaine Stormoe- Midstokke, Lynne lived in the surrounding areas of Cooperstown, ND with her siblings Dean Midstokke, Loretta Michaelis, and Harlan Midstokke, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends nearby.

Lynne married the love of her life, Peter Vigesaa, on December 1, 1971 in Las Vegas, NV. They were happily married for over 51 years. Together they raised 4 daughters in Cooperstown, ND before making the move out to California in 1988.

She loved talking on the phone(loved to call it a gift to gab) to family and friends, loved to be in the kitchen cooking, watching football and basketball games on TV with her husband, loved any and all animals, and had an enormous amount of love for her family.

Lynne is survived by her husband Peter Vigesaa, her brother Dean Midstokke, her sister Loretta Michaelis, her children Teri (Tod) LaPlant, Cara Vigesaa-Epps, CaTina (Bryan) Vigesaa-Inglis, and Ticia (Tim) Costa, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Lynne is preceded in death by Myron Midstokke (Father), Elaine Stormoe- Midstokke (Mother), Harlan Midstokke (Brother), Gloria Midstokke (Sister-in- law), and James Michaelis (Brother-in-law).
