March 20, 1939 ~ March 23, 2024 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Tribute

Margaret George, was born as Margaret Aziz on March 20, 1939 to Joseph and Saleena Aziz in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She was one of ten children and one of seven daughters belonging to the
family. She attended primary and secondary school and completed nurse’s training near her home in India. She met and married Alvacious George in 1962 and welcomed their son Anil in June of ‘63. In 1970, the family of three suffered a tragic loss of their one-week old son.

Margaret was an avid caretaker which spread over three countries and three continents where shespent time working as a nurse in India, Germany and the United States. Once she arrived in New
York, she worked as a nurse’s assistant and then moved to California where she furthered her education to become an LVN. Margaret worked as a maternity nurse at Alta Bates Hospital in
Berkeley where she dedicated a selfless and graceful 25 years to nursing, and finally retired in 2001.

Margaret was the epitome of the perfect caretaker which was reflected in all aspects of her life, specifically through caring for her son and her three grandchildren. She loved to cook, laugh,
entertain, dance, smile, and more importantly, she loved to be surrounded by her family. She loved holidays, parties, and every reason to celebrate. We will celebrate her this day and many
more to come.

Margaret is survived by son Anil and wife Monika, her grandchildren Sunil (spouse Erica),Sunita (spouse Aaron), and Sujata (spouse Marquis) and their mother Falisha. She is also
survived by her great-grandchildren Priyah, Sunia, Samayah, Annelyse, Autumn, Maelie, Wyatt, Levi, and Wade, and great-great grandson Aedonix.
