Marjorie Alberta Rae Bullock
August 1, 1920 – July 11, 2019
“Marge”, age 98, passed away peacefully at her Tracy home on July 11, 2019. She was born august 1, 1920 in Santa Ana, Ca to William and Edith (Kuechel) Gommel. Received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from UC Berkeley. She proudly served as a Navy Nurse, stationed in Alaska during WWII, and continued working as a Registered Nurse until retirement. Beloved mother, grandmother, 66, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. In 98 years she touched so many lives, her accomplishments were many, and her life was full. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, the theater, baking, reading, attending church, volunteering, bike riding, see’s candy, her birthday, watching Dr. Phil, gardening, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her wonderful husband Edwin Rae (1971) & Harrison Bullock (1992); son Eddie Rae; brother Ernie Gommel Jr; grandson Jacob Isler; and so many loved friends and family. Those left to cherish her memory include: daughter, Virginia Isler; granddaughters Traci Isler and Amy Locke Isler; sister Dorothy Dimitre (Ted); great grandchildren James, Caden, and Kendall (Rosie Rae) Isler, and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Adored by all who knew her. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
