Mary Lou Amaral

Mary (Maria de Luz) Amaral was born on September 24, 1954 in Terceira, Acores to Antonio
and Herondina Silva and was one of five children. Mary entered peacefully into rest on July 29,
2022. She was a resident of Tracy for 31 years, prior to moving to Tracy she was a resident of
San Leandro. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Antonio and Herondina Silva
and her two brothers, Fernando Silva and Victor Silva. Mary leaves behind her loving husband
of 46 years, Genuino Amaral. She is survived by her brother Tony Silva, sister, Maria Filomena
Amaral, and her sons, David Amaral, Jose Amaral (Lucy Simoes) and Nelson Amaral (April
Amaral). She was blessed with six grandchildren, Courtney, Mariah, Dominic, Sophia,
Augustine and Nelson Paul, II. Mary was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister,
grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, neighbor, and friend. She will be missed by many.
