On March 7, 2018, Mary Lee Ungaro, 81, beloved mother, sister, aunt, daughter and Nonna, was called home by the lord, where she was reunited with her true love of 60 years, Vincent J. Ungaro; her parents, Robert and Jewel Ozias; and her only sister, Corabel (Corky) Macomb. Mary is survived by her three devoted children, Debi (Jeff) Warrick, Ron Ungaro, and Gina (James) Gutierrez, all of Tracy, CA; four cherished grandchildren, Chelsea (Vito) Dimas, Nicholas Warrick, Jaylyn (Robert) Hernandez, and Jasea Leigh Gutierrez; a great-grandson, Jackson Anthony Vincent Dimas; and lastly her beloved cat CJ. Mrs. Ungaro was born October 10, 1936, in Berkeley, CA, and resided in Tracy for the last 9 years. She worked several jobs, including selling Home Interiors and Avon, and for the last 20-plus years she was a credit and collection manager for several tech companies in the Bay Area.
Mary treasured her family and always enjoyed family gatherings. This past summer, she was able to go to Hawaii with 17 of her family members who were able to make the trip, and it was a true blessing for all of us to enjoy her presence. She always wanted to be where the action was, and she will be greatly missed at all of our family gatherings, trips and holidays. Rest in peace, Mama; please watch over us until we see you again!
Fry Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Ungaro families. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Tracy Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Community Hospice, 2105 W. March Lane, Ste. 2, Stockton, CA, 95207. For condolences to the family, please visit www.frymemorialchapel.com
