Maurilio “Alex” Galvan Muñoz

Maurilio Miguel Alejandro Galvan Munoz, 24, passed away in a tragic car accident on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Stockton, California. He was born on August 19, 1999 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Fatima Munoz & Alejandro Galvan.

A resident of Tracy for the last 21 years, Alex was an Ironworker and near graduating as a Journeyman from Ironworkers 378.

Alex was a very hardworking man, striving to achieve all of his goals so that he could provide nothing but the best for his wife and son. While he was focused on his goals, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He will be remembered as a kindhearted and adventurous person. He loved to joke around and make people laugh.

Alex leaves behind his wife, Michelle Garcia their son Fabian, his parents and two sisters. Along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy is in care of funeral arrangements. A Vigil service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Fry’s chapel with visitation hours from 2:30 -8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He will be laid to rest at Valpico Memorial Park.
