Patricia Janet Hooper

Patricia Janet Hooper of Ripon died June 3, 2021. She was 91. Patricia was born Dec. 5, 1929 in Oakland, CA. She worked at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital and later at Chabot College Bookstore in Hayward. She was a loving mother to Pamela Izard, her compassionate caregiver, of Ripon and Rodney Hooper of Alamo; proud grandmother to David Izard of Jamestown, Daniel Izard of Soulsbyville, and Dr. Zachary Bjornson-Hooper of San Francisco; and devoted sister to Nancy Scott of Woodside. She is preceded in death by her brother Walter Scott. Pat loved swing music, Frank Sinatra and a nightly cocktail. In later years, she and her lifelong friend Steve Meyer had a nightly phone date to chat and sip. Private family services were held.
