Phyllis Nadine Rodrigues

Phyllis Nadine Rodrigues, 81, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. She was born in Redlands, California on November 28, 1941 to the late Leslie W. & Alma L. (Lewis) McKinney and has resided in Tracy for 33 years.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband Gilbert Rodrigues, her children, Chuck Flackman (Carmen), Jana Scherrer (Steve), Wendy Rodrigues, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren ( preceded in death by her son Ron, Johnny and daughters Shelly and Cody.

She met Gilbert on August 19, 1976 and they married in December of 1985.

She was a loving mother and a good wife.  She was “Crazy” for horses, loved dressing up and putting on makeup, dancing, country music and going on motorcycle rides.  She loved attending the National Finals Rodeo (NFR).  No matter where she was going, family function, riding horses or going on a motorcycle ride she always dresses for the occasion.  We must not forget her cowboy boots, all 17 pairs.

Phyllis will be deeply missed. ❤️

Prayer services are at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Fry Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Tracy Public Cemetery immediately following her service.
